A Poem For January

You are who you are
No matter the scale
So if it’s not where you want
Please don’t start to wail

You are so much more than a number
So much more than your inches
So tell Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig
To stop being such grinches

Stop bragging about Keto
And how many pounds you lost
I really don’t care I’ll tell you
As I eat my pasta and sauce

I did some Yoga today
You ran 15 miles
All that matters at the end of the day
Is we both feel good and smile

For we all die someday
The fat, skinny, short, and tall
So let’s learn to love our bodies
Let’s learn to love them all ❤
